Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954 in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox are her parents. Lennox took classes in piano, flute as well as harpsichord at Royal Academy of Music London for three years in the 70s. Her budget was supplemented by a stipend to students and part-time work. In the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied in her ability in comparison to her fellow students and contemplated a possible alternative route she could take. Lennox started her professional career in the year 1976 as a member of the group called Dragons Playground. She quit the group shortly before their appearance on I.T.V's talent program New Faces. Between 1977 and 1980 she sang in The Tourists. A British pop band from the UK. The band was where she got to know Dave Stewart and together they created The duo Eurythmics. Lennox was then able to begin work on her first solo album Diva, which was released around 1992. The album was an enormous hit both critically and commercially. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album came out in the month of October, 2014. The C.D. Lennox has selected her top blues, soul and jazz tracks. Lepidoptera was released by Lennox on the 19th of May 2019. The album is consisting of four tracks that were improvised. This E.P. Her first solo album, which was released in conjunction with her work at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled "Now I'm letting You Go." Annie Lennox is a Scottish singer and songwriter who was born on December 25, 1954. The Tourists gained some minor acknowledgement for their and Dave Stewart's work during the 1970s. They went on, in the 1980s, to become the popular duo Eurythmics. In 1992, Lennox began her solo career with their debut record Diva with a variety of successful tracks, including Why and Walking in Broken Glass. Medusa the album she released in 1995 has cover versions of songs including No MoreI Love Yous as well as A Whiter Shade of Pale. Her six studio solo albums and the compilation album contain a variety of tracks.
